Stayed for one night i figured it would be just a basic room, but it turned out to be fun and really clean. For the price, I’d say we got a fair deal for sure

I was expecting a bit more from the gift shop, but it felt messy and a little overpriced. There were a few cute things, so it wasn’t a total miss. Anyway, the cashier seemed kind of annoyed and wasn’t very helpful, which made the whole experience less enjoyable. I probably wouldn’t go back just for the shop

The place itself was cute, but i had zero patience for how loud it was. We could hear people in the halls and noise from outside most of the night, so getting any decent sleep was pretty much impossible. Not exactly the relaxing stay we were hoping for.

I was surprised by how roomy the room felt when we walked in. There was plenty of space for our bags, and the layout made it super easy to unpack without everything ending up in the walkway. I especially liked that we could move around the bed and still have room to keep our stuff organized...

I stayed at Madonna Inn, and I’m not exaggerating when I say the room was absolutely not clean. Like, I knew within five minutes that nobody had done a real deep clean in there.

There was dust sitting on the furniture, hair in the bathroom, and the carpet felt so gross that I didn’t even want to walk around barefoot. The sheets also did not feel fresh at all, which pretty much guaranteed I wasn’t going to relax.

I get that it’s an older place and has a certain style, but cleanliness is the bare minimum. For what they charge, I expected way better, and I’m 100% sure I would not stay there again.

The bed wasn’t terrible or anything, but for some reason it felt a bit too firm for me. I slept okay, just not as comfortably as I’d hoped.

I can totally see why people love the Madonna Inn. It has that quirky, nostalgic charm, and the rooms are definitely fun to check out. 🙂 But for me, it felt more old and worn than cozy. The vibe is unique for sure, just a little too much after a while. I expected to enjoy it more than I did.

I had a relaxing time at the spa, which is still a really nice part of the place. The fitness room was just okay though. It felt basic, and I remember it being better before.

We ate here while visiting the Madonna Inn, the food was better than I expected. I got the tri-tip, and it was cooked just right, with those slightly crisp edges I always notice. The sides tasted fresh too, especially the vegetables, which still had a little bite to them instead of that sad reheated texture.

Dessert was definitely the highlight. The cake slices are huge, like almost comically thick, and the frosting was super rich without tasting waxy. Service was fine, maybe a little slow, and I did notice we were waiting on drink refills for a bit, but nothing that ruined the meal. It’s a little pricey, but I’d probably go back

Check-in was really easy, like, everything went smoothly and I didn’t have any issues there. Checkout was fine too, I guess, but it did take a bit longer than I expected, so that was kind of a minor hassle.

The room really felt like it hadn’t been kept up very well and could use some serious maintenance. What made it more frustrating was that there didn’t seem to be any actual person to talk to about it. Everything felt kind of hands-off, and I would’ve appreciated some human contact instead of feeling like I was on my own

I was hoping to get a better feel for what the dining experience was actually like, but there just wasn’t much to go on. In my opinion, it would be way more helpful to hear what happened, how the food was, what the service felt like, and whether anything stood out good or bad.

I stopped by while feeling mentally drained and just wanted something sweet. The desserts were fresh, and overall it was a good bakery stop. The cake was tasty, but a little too sweet for me.

From what I remember, the customer service replies took way longer than I expected. I was just sitting there waiting for an answer, and it got frustrating after a while.

We stayed here as a family and overall had a fun time. I was in a good mood when we arrived, and the funky rooms definitely added to that, the kids especially got a kick out of all the pink decor and thought it was hilarious. The staff were friendly enough, which helped. That said, it did feel crowded at times, and meals weren’t always easy with young kids. The costs also started adding up quicker than I expected. I’m glad we checked it out once, but it wasn’t exactly the relaxing family getaway I was hoping for

I liked that Madonna Inn was easy to get to, especially being close to the freeway and just a short drive from downtown San Luis Obispo. I was expecting parking to be more of a hassle, but it was actually easy when we visited, which made the whole arrival feel simple.

The accessibility side was more mixed than I expected. Some areas were totally manageable, but the property is spread out and not always the clearest to navigate if mobility is a concern. Overall, it’s a fun and convenient spot, but I wouldn’t say it’s the easiest place to get around.

We stayed for one night, the parking was easy. We found a spot close to our room without having to circle around forever, and the lot felt safe enough. It did get full later at night, though, which was a little frustrating. Not a huge deal, but I do think the hotel could at least acknowledge it or apologize when guests have to deal with limited spots.

I stayed at the Madonna Inn the bathroom was one of the things I noticed most. It was clean, like really clean, and the water pressure was great. The towels were soft too, which I always appreciate. Nothing felt old, weird, or gross, and I’m picky about hotel bathrooms, so that was a big deal for me. It just made the whole stay feel more comfortable. I’d definitely book again for that kind of peace of mind.

I booked this for my birthday because I’ve always wanted to check out the themed rooms, and I’ll say the place is definitely cute and different. It made for a fun memory, which I’m glad about. But the room felt more worn down than I expected, and service was slow. When we mentioned a couple things, it kind of felt like they weren’t that concerned, which was disappointing on a birthday trip. Overall, I’m happy we went, but it wasn’t quite the special stay I was hoping for

I stayed here mainly because of the themed room, i had a fun time. Yeah, the decor is a little wild, but that’s kind of the whole point, so I don’t really get why anyone would complain about it. It was a bit pricey, sure, but I knew what I was booking and still enjoyed the experience
